By far one of the best fish soup I've eaten! The red garoupa fish meat was deliciously fresh and firm; a little pricey but it was value for money for a great bowl of tasty fish broth. And I've added minced meat for more flavor. You may add noodle or eat it with rice. What I like about this stall was they weren't stingy with the greens or condiments; plus they've added Chinese fermented soybeans (豆豉) to their chili padi dipping sauce, distinctly teochew style!
This unseemingly stall is located within Hiap Seng Hup Kee Eating House, corner kopitiam along the same stretch of shophouses where you will find Yong's Teochew Kueh. My advise - GO EARLY! For car owners, there's a hdb carpark nearby (5-8mins walk).
