Talk to any Malaysian about home, and the first thing they'll talk about is food. When Laksa King Kitchen came to BrandWorks to develop a their brand, we took inspiration from the heart of Malaysian culture; the dualism in Peranakan culture that is a balanced result of Chinese and Malaysian, as well as the textures in the featured dish at the restaurant, Laksa.

WHAT'S IN A NAME? // BrandWorks was engaged by Ben Hirons for this corporate branding project to rename and rebrand his marketing and business growth agency. The client’s brief was clear in that he wanted to stray away from the typical, clichéd sales and marketing stock imagery look for his brand. The concept of Due North embodies the idea behind getting your business on the right path, guided by your compass, to head straight and northward to reach growth, success, and profitability. #redefinetheexperience

P A T T E R N // Following a holiday to Hawaii the team behind @noshaustralia came to BrandWorks to create a new brand and fit-out for a concept inspired by poke, a popular raw fish salad served in Hawaii. We came up with this custom pattern design with rich magentas and orange colours being reminiscent of fresh foods like berries, beetroot or ginger; foods that are packed with flavour and nutrients. #redefinetheexperience

GRAPHIC DESIGN // Cocofix’s premise was simple, all natural coconuts delivered right to your door. Your fresh coconut water fix, wherever and whenever you need it. The brief was to design a brand that communicated the natural goodness of the coconut, but was also approachable, fun and not preachy. Inspired by the concept of ‘good vibes’, on the beach, or at a musical festival, when the sun is shining in summer, the resulting brand is bold, summery and bright. Along with the palm fronds in the secondary system, ‘OOX’, taken directly from the logo, also created a signature for the brand that is playful and bold.

BRANDING // Jasmine Kids Outfitters is your one-stop children’s clothing boutique. Designed entirely around kids and play, the brief from the client was to make the store interactive and playful, putting enjoyment into the experience of shopping for and with kids.
