Recovery run after yesterday’s long run. I got a ton of fresh produce yesterday and spent a good part of the day doing food prep. Preparation is everything. It’s too easy to skip the good things and grab the easy (often not so good) option when the week goes crazy. I do the same with my recovery drinks. Measure it into my Scoopie the night before and set it out with my water so it’s the first thing I grab when I get back. Without food nutrition and a sound recovery routine you can’t push your body hard enough to get the best out of your training.
