Wednesday Wisdom/REAL TALK...we don't always look full, we don't always look shredded and we don't always look "pumped". This was me conditioned for a competition I did about two months ago. This was when I was making sure I made wait, before I carb loaded, before I gave myself the energy I needed to actually lift and perform the way I know I could. Weight cut is nothing I've ever done before because I don't compete in a sport that weighs me!! And personally I did not like it, it messed with my mind more than anything knowing I had to be under a certain number. When I look at this picture I see flat, depleted and completely boney ☠️💀 looking back at this photo It's scary to think how I seen myself at that time! Now I'm putting on weight and since I'm so used to seeing myself look like this because I spent the greater part of the last six months completely diced for shows and competitions, it's hard to see changes....SOO now that I'm fuller and a lot healthier I look at myself as being "big" (which is amazing and what I need to do to grow) but some days my mind/body wants to fight it! 😕Your mind can be a scary place and you have to learn how to get out of those dark corners when you get in one. I could tell you that I workout everyday first thing. I could tell you that I eat healthy 100% of the time. And I could tell you that I'm that perfect mom that never feeds my kids sugar and never forgets anything. But come on. I'm all about sharing real life here. I'm not perfect. Do I strive to be, of course. Well maybe not perfect, but at least to be the best that I possible can. The truth is that most days I feel like a hot mess express, just barely getting by. But by putting myself first and working on bettering myself I have found that I am changing my daily habits and feeling less and less like a hot mess express. Everyday I put me first, so that my family can experience the best version of me possible. So that I can be more present with my kids. Everyday I find my self feeling happier. I find that I'm more pleased with my life. I don't feel like I'm a huge failure. All because I took a chance on me. Mommas out there, if you feel like you have lost you and you constantly feel like a failure as a mom, join me. Take a chance on you. Let me help you find yourself again. Let me help you become the best version of yourself so that you can be the best mom possible for your family. Trust me it's worth the chance. The only regret I have is not starting sooner.
