Here's a book recommendation for you, 'The Whole Christ' by Sinclair Ferguson. When my pastor @tjtims mentioned months ago on the podcast that it was one of the best books he's read in 5 years, I proceeded to procrastinate like an idiot. It took a random sighting at a bookstore on vacation to pick it up. Rarely do I read theology (or any 'Christian' books for that matter), and never do I read them quickly. This one I couldn't put down even though my brain was severely exercised, polishing it off in 24 hours. The first half of the book was strongest for me, with virtually every single page causing a pause, re-read, underline, & 'ooooh dang!' moment. This is history mixed with truth, addressing an issue we all have to check ourselves on: legalism. If you're up for it, grab a pen, some hops, a humble mind, and a front porch. It could change your life.
