Sometimes you wake up craving chocolate cake. Why don’t I just eat the cake? As much as I’m about that #treatyourself life, a piece of chocolate cake won’t fuel me for the day, make me feel good, or nourish my body the way a good breakfast should.

☝️But that doesn’t mean I can’t have chocolate cake flavor at breakfast. These oats are so, so, sooo good, full of good stuff, and if you want that cakey texture (which most of us do🤷‍♀️), just cook the oats with 75% of the liquid the package directions recommend and BAM: almost-chocolate-cake-oats for breakfast.

Microwave 1/2 cup instant oats with 3/4 cup water, 1/2 mashed banana (for sweetness) & 1 scoop @furtherfood collagen for 1 min 45 sec. Stir in 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder & 1 Tbsp cocoa powder. Top with banana & PB...and maybe some candles too because #cake...and enjoy.
