Cownose rays schooling at Gordon Rocks For Pelayo, the name Gordon Rocks translates to an awesome day of diving! Located within a morning day-trip from Puerto Ayora in the #Galapagos, Gordon Rocks is a world class dive destination. On your typical dive you will encounter schools of hammerheads, eagle rays, blacktip, Galapagos and white tip reef sharks, green sea turtles, loads of reef fishes, playful sea lions and Galapagos fur seals. For the lucky few, on a good day you could get lucky and witness a pod of orcas feeding on a hammerhead (see Pelayo's previous post) or dozens of golden eagle rays in flight formation. Thank you @galapagostravellers and the great Lucho Jara for an awesome and productive day!
