Crazy funny how putting things out into the universe works.
I’ve been debating if I should really give growing my hair back a good hard try, then I opened up my social media and see that @tamarbraxton did this.
It’s been 5 years of me with no hair, it began because of my MS and Psoriatic Arthritis (along with many others) diagnosis.
I feel like I don’t look good at all. It actually destroyed any self esteem I had left, lol. I hid my hair loss for the first year. Over time... it became freeing. No hair products, no wasting money on buying hair tools. It’s even easier for me to train and not worry about my hair smelling funky with sweat.
I may not look gorgeous, and people do stare, but over time I became more confident without my hair.
Recently I wanted to gift my mother the opportunity to see me with my hair again, but I’ll just send her old pics. Sorry mom.
I may change my mind down the road, but right now I have grey hair coming in and it feels good not to dye it. You can barely see it with my buzz cut.
Do what makes you feel truly yourself and truly happy.
