Random share of the day: an apricot lucuma #smoothie pic I apparently took in summer. I have no memory of what's in it, other than the fact I titled it "apricot lucuma" and I have a distinct memory of there being exactly 1 tbsp of lucuma in there. I'm guessing the rest is possibly banana, almond milk, apricots (obvi), and quite likely a splash of maple -- the usual suspects. I know it's super helpful of me, but just keeping it honest 😅 I honestly have no idea why I took this photo (just found it browsing through some old pics) but at least we can all appreciate the simple pretty apricot's colour and the flavor combo in this "footnote& #34; of a photo 😄💛

Ingridients:
1 medium frozen mango
1 fresh freckled banana
1 frozen banana
1 cup of water

Blend all in a high speed blender, and you got yourself a yummy nutrient smoothie bowl 🤗

WE HAVE LOTS OF AVOCADOS ! HAVE YOU TRIED THE STRAWBERRY FLUFF SMOOTHIE OR THE MEEN GREEN BOWL ? 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 The avocado is a rather unique type of fruit.

Most fruit consists primarily of carbohydrate, while avocado is high in healthy fats.

Numerous studies show that it has powerful beneficial effects on health.

Avocado is Incredibly Nutritious
What we refer to as “avocado” is the fruit of the avocado tree, called Persea americana .

This fruit is prized for its high nutrient value and is added to all sorts of dishes due to its good flavor and rich texture. It is the main ingredient in guacamole.

These days, the avocado has become an incredibly popular food among health conscious individuals. It is often referred to as a superfood… which is not surprising given its health properties
Avocados are very nutritious and contain a wide variety of nutrients, including 20 different vitamins and minerals.

Here are some of the most abundant nutrients, in a single 3.5 ounce (100 gram) serving :

Vitamin K: 26% of the RDA.
Folate: 20% of the RDA.
Vitamin C: 17% of the RDA.
Potassium: 14% of the RDA.
Vitamin B5: 14% of the RDA.
Vitamin B6: 13% of the RDA.
Vitamin E: 10% of the RDA.

Then it contains small amounts of Magnesium, Manganese, Copper, Iron, Zinc, Phosphorous, Vitamin A, B1 (Thiamine), B2 (Riboflavin) and B3 (Niacin).
This is coming with 160 calories, 2 grams of protein and 15 grams of healthy fats. Although it contains 9 grams of carbs, 7 of those are fiber so there are only 2 “net” carbs, making this a low-carb friendly plant food.

Avocados do not contain any cholesterol or sodium, and are low in saturated fat. I personally don’t think that matters, but this is one of the reasons they are favored by many “old school” experts who still believe these things are inherently harmful.

We had a smoothie bowl for #breakfast 💛 today:
3 bananas, 2 dates, 125g frozen raspberries and aronia powder (1 serving) - topped with kiwi, mandarins, white mulberries and shredded coconut.
It's after an Inspiration by Anthony William who recommends this smoothie for breakfast in his 28 day cleansing but uses wild blueberries for even more benefits. I only have frozen raspberries at the moment - but they are very soothing, antidepressive or just make a good mood! 💚 💛 💜

1. Зеленные смузи(сладкие фрукты хорошо сочетаются с зеленью, дети их любят)
2. Зеленые супчики(авокадо, шпинат, укроп, апельсиновый сок, немного воды. Если кушаете соль, чесночек)
3. Готовьте интересные, вкусные соусы. Куда можно макнуть лист салата или шпината.
4. Чипсы из зелени в любом соусе. Это листья горчицы.
В этом красивом и полезном растении сосредоточено очень большое количество витаминов и питательных веществ. Среди них медь, фосфор, магний, марганец, калий, белки, железо, кальций, витамины В6, А, С, Е, К. В.

MAKES: 4 SERVINGS
INGREDIENTS
Crust:
▪½ cup raw pistachios
▪1 soft medjool date, pitted
▪½ tbsp maple syrup
▪½ tbsp coconut oil
Filling:
▪½ cup raw pistachios (pre-soak and strain only if not using a power blender*)
▪3 tbsp maple syrup
▪2 tbsp coconut oil
▪2 tbsp almond milk
▪1 tsp pure vanilla extract
▪⅛ tsp salt
▪¼ cup more chopped raw pistachios
Optional Toppings:
▪chopped pistachios, edible rose petals, edible heather flowers

INSTRUCTIONS
1Process all crust ingredients in a food processor into a sticky crumbly mixture. Transfer into a small parchment-lined tupperware container (I used one that's 3" x 5.5" ) or a 5" springform pan and press down into a flat even crust. Freeze while working on the next layer.
2Make sure all filling ingredients are at room temp. Blend everything, except the additional ¼ cup pistachios, in a high power blender into a smooth uniform consistency. Fold in the extra pistachios with a spoon. Transfer the mixture into the prepared crust.
3Sprinkle with desired toppings. Freeze for 5-6 hours or overnight to set. Slice and enjoy! Keep leftovers frozen.

NOTES
