About to throw down with my gal pal @VeronicaKundya at my favourite Ethiopian restaurant in Dar es Salaam, @RohobotEthiopianRestaurant. What were we having?
From foreground to background in an anti-clockwise direction: Kitfo (raw minced beef marinated in a chili powder-based spice blend and clarified butter infused with herbs and spices), Doro Wot, the mother of all Ethiopian stews, i.e., a slow-cooked spicy onion stew with chicken and hard-boiled eggs, Ayeb Begomen (homemade cottage cheese blended with sautéed spinach) and Mitmita (a hot spice blend). Oh, my gosh, what can I say?
It was simply delicious...as always!
