So as many of you know I was nursing a baby orphaned squirrel this weekend. I never intended to keep him, these helpless innocent little creatures are so reliant on assistance when their mothers "leave". It gets hard not to get attached. What's even harder is doing the right thing and saying good bye. I had to send him off to professional rehabers for the BEST chance of survival. On the bright side they were thoroughly impressed at how fat he was, clean and no fleas, eager to eat and in really good shape. These guys don't last long on captivity with regular people and I'm by no means licensed. Just did research and tried my best.
