I never knew that cats could get hot spots. I am quite used to them on dogs. About a week ago, I kept seeing Charlie gnaw on his back paw and finally picked him up to investigate (Charlie itches a lot this time of year, so I wrote it off in my head a few times to allergies). Turns out something had bitten him or something on his foot and he had nearly gnawed off all of his hair - it was red and irritated.
Luckily, when Caymus has had his ear problem a few months back, a reader had told me about Colloidal Silver and what a life saver it is for wound care on dogs and cats. Since I get those Amazon gift cards for free (http://www.floppycats.com/how-to-get-free-gift-cards-for-cat-products-and-more.html), I decided to add some Colloidal Silver to my cart and just order it the next time I had enough free gift cards. I am glad I did! I used it on Charlie’s hot spot and not 5 hours later, all the irritation had gone away and Charlie had stopped gnawing on it. Impressive stuff. I took these photos and sent them to my family members and friends with animals, so they could have it on hand if they needed it.
I got mine from Amazon - http://amzn.to/2oukbeL (link in bio) - have you ever used Colloidal Silver?
This also reminds me of a friend of mine who recently said to me – “You know what’s funny, Jenny? I have started reading all the comments Floppycats readers leave on Facebook because they are so educational.” And they are! I just love what I learn too – so thank you to you all.
