Day 28 of #marchmatness2018 and it’s all about rolling with #seal and #crab
I absolutely ❤️ Seal - such a joyful exercise and great for challenging balance and control. Crab, in my opinion, is a very peculiar exercise that requires a very long mat and isn’t something I teach very often, if at all, but fun to try once in a while!
Both exercises require a great deal of core control, and are great for improving segmental control of the spine. ✨Imagine super gluing your tummy muscles to your spine as you roll back, and as your roll forward in Crab
✨Focus on a good c curve all the way down your spine
✨Imagine squeezing your sitting bones together to hesitate and either tap the feet together in Seal or change over legs in Crab
✨Keep the weight across your shoulders and not on your neck as you roll
