Yesterday was an amazing milestone for me in my life and I want to take the time to thank God for blessing me. After all these years of wishing, hoping, goal setting, and risk taking I can officially say that I've lived in New York City for 1 Year! September 23rd, 2016 was the move in date to my brand new Brooklyn Apartment and I'm so glad I was able to share that journey with you all.
Now that a full year of 4 seasons have passed, I wanted to have fun with some photos of me in iconic NYC landmarks, but with a local perspective. I've been blessed to have seen and experienced so many different events here in NYC this past year and I'm so grateful for all of them. I even appreciate the times where I thought NYC had the best of me and I broke down only to have to pick myself back up.
So thank you New York City for the stalled train rides, the tears, the laughs, the music, the visitors, the new friends & old, the shows, the books, the style upgrade (and shopping, the TSA lines, the bodegas, the skyline views, the magical snowy days, and the wonderful changing leaves in the fall.. Thank you for all of it! You allowed me to learn so much about myself and continue to show me that I can achieve my goals and accomplish whatever I want! I'm officially a New Yorker that's 1 year in, and I can't wait to see what else is in store. So grateful for this journey and for all of you for following/supporting me along the ride! Happy One Year Anniversary to ME, I did it! 🎉🗽🥂 #HappyAnniversary #NYC #1stYear #Brooklyn #Manhattan #IDidItYall
