Refurb for ALF AND ROE ⚡
A new look for the shop, coming up to its second birthday. Looking at the second pic makes me realise how far I have come - it was taken a week after opening, which is coming up to 2 years ago. I am proud of my wee empire and would encourage any of you with an idea/dream to go for it - not matter how obscure (vintage shop in the village of Donaghmore... ack sure why not...). Its not easy by any means (and no job should be) but doing something you love, for yourself, everyday is unreal. If you are devoted to your vision, patient and try your best not to worry about what other people think of your ideas - you will make it work.
I am still figuring out the ins and outs of running a business, I still struggle with the work/life balance and I am learning how to 'switch off' - but getting to do what I love everyday - surrounded by my family is an absolute dream.
With the refurb I tried to move away from the conventional look of a vintage shop and create a more minimal feel, letting the colours and textures of the clothing be the decoration, as well as opening it out and creating more space.
Few people to thanks for helping me this past week.
@thisoldhome for creating the bespoke railing and back board. Great work as always - thank you so much.
@loridoon_ for spending all day Monday with me in the shop, sorting, cleaning, fueng shui-ing and keeping me calm. Love you.
My parents and fiance @mickeyhagan for helping me with odd jobs and listening to my wacky ideas and work related gabble day in and out. Love yous.

Hope you all love it as much as me ❤️
