God met me this morning on the pier and It was amazing.
As I sat, my mind wondering, I found myself harping back on the past. Failures that pop up and immediately bring you down.
Then God spoke and reminded me of this verse: "Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light." Micha 7:8
Friends, when we fall the enemy immediately sows shame and gloats over us. He makes us feel foolish, because we thought we were making progress.
Beth Moore said it best: " rather than allowing the enemy to continue to gloat over you, allow God to guide you. Have guts enough to say: "Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise -- stronger than ever, alert and watching." Look to the One "who is able to keep you from falling" (Jude 24) ❤️ Amen
