Experiencing a summer Christmas is still bizarre, even the third time around. So what better way to celebrate a usually-crazy holiday season + 3rd trimester than with gelato, a quiet Christmas just the two (plus one) of us, and a walk on the beach.
To celebrate New Years Eve tonight, we made tea, stepped out onto the balcony, and watched the Coogee Sparkle fireworks show at a family-friendly hour of 9pm.
Now we're soon to tuck in for the night, but grateful for the love we've gotten from friends and family around the world -- even amidst this gloriously quiet and introspective holiday season. Thanks for letting us hibernate a bit!
Love, Emma, Andrew & Baby Sedlak
