So, first real topic I'm gonna have here. I really like the show but some things are just wrong to me, and I'm sure many others will agree, how they use queerbaiting to attract people to watch the show as people quit doing so because it's just not the same as the first 4 seasons which many of us liked the most. Teen wolf used sterek to boost its views, just swipe to see.
I just think that it's quite funny how Jeff Davis says that "Sterek is the alpha of the whole Teen Wolf Fandom" after Tyler Posey referring to Sterek as a "bizarre, weird, twisted thing" plus he thinks "that anyone who pays more attention to sterek than the show isn't watching for the right reasons.", even though they used Sterek so TW would win a poll on best show or something + the sterek campaign they did won MTV's fandom award but it was never mentioned by name on tv or in their article and everything sterek related was basically removed. This disgusted me quite a lot because I felt like I was played with and cheated on but then I figured that not only Teen Wolf nor Jeff Davis in particular are the only one who use queerbaiting (the destiel fandom will know what I mean) but still I don't appreciate the fact that they use this process to make views and by extend money. I realized that at this point we don't have anything to do as it is the last season plus it's a "gift" they made us to bring back Dylan and Tyler Hoechlin, I'm happy that they can share the same set for the final season and we'll eventually see fanfics and edits based on their screen time to keep the fandom going for some more time.
Tell me what you guys think in the comments 😊
