First clip 1 1/2 rep Squats :
You can do this method with most exercises. You’re basically extending the set by incorporating a 1/2 rep in-between full ROM rep.

Squat all the way down, but only come back up half way. Then go back down again and come up all the way to the start position. That's one rep.

Usually a good 5-8 reps will do. Which is a lot of work when you factor in all the half-reps that don't allow you to rest at the top, which provides more overload by increasing time-under-tension.

That's a wrap for heavy squat training.

Top two singlss of 470 and 455 shown. Even though my 470 needs to be another inch deeper, I was happy with how it moved given the fact that it's a 10 lb PR. Still no excuse however.

I will work up to my opener towards the end of the week then cut out most intensity until my meet December 2nd.

Vulnerable lift video. Last set of 3x2 at 505lbs cambered bar. Squats are by far my worst lift. Not gonna let them hold my total back this time though. I wish I could just deadlift everyday.
