Não está totalmente equivocado falar que, o posicionamento dos pés muda o recrutamento muscular na Leg Press (Pressão de Pernas à portuguesa). Da Silva [1] avaliaram o recrutamento muscular na Leg Press horizontal com pés baixos (LPB); horizontal com pés altos (LPA) e a Leg Press 45º (LP45); em dois níveis de esforço (40 e 80% de RM). O Reto Femoral foi mais ativado na LPB e LP45 e menor no LPA, talvez porque com os pés mais altos ele esteja próximo duma insuficiência ativa. O glúteo ativou mais com os pés altos, e o vasto lateral, com os pés baixos (só a 80% RM) para as comparações da LP horizontal, na LP45 o recrutamento, de ambos os músculos, foi semelhante.
A posição do pé muda o recrutamento? Pois bem, para ser isso concreto só se também alterada for a posição inicial do quadril, como ocorreu no estudo [2] (90º - para LPB, 105º - LP45 e 125º - na LPA). Ressalto ainda que na prática, o que influencia, de fato, além da posição inicial do quadril, é a amplitude total de flexão de joelho! Fisiculturistas usam muita amplitude de movimento! Acredito que recrutam intensamente ambos (glúteo máximo e quadríceps) sem qualquer atividade seletiva, impossibilitando “isolar” os envolvidos. Isso é notável principalmente quando utilizam mais de 100º de amplitude de movimento para flexão de quadril e de joelho com cargas elevadas.

Como mostra o vídeo, quando o indivíduo ultrapassa o seu limite de amplitude provoca arredondamento da lombar (retroversão pélvica - seta vermelha) e gera tensão... A repetição deste movimento, parece ser um dos principais causadores de problemas na região, inclusive podendo causar hérnia.

CORREÇÃO (arraste para a segunda imagem):
MANTENHA o quadril apoiado no banco e PRESERVE a lordose lombar (curvatura fisiológica)!

🔹A amplitude no LEG PRESS dependerá do grau de flexibilidade e mobilidade articular de cada indivíduo...
Portanto, quem consegue realizá-lo em grandes amplitudes SEM comprometer a técnica, ótimo!!
Se vc NÃO consegue, pode tentar melhorar sua flexibilidade, pois o encurtamento muscular pode ser a causa!!
Agora se mesmo assim a retroversão persistir, sugiro diminuir a amplitude e priorizar a execução correta!!! Será mais seguro e minimizará o risco de dor lombar e problemas futuros!!!

Damn it feels good to be back.
Coach made some changes to my set up so I'm now effectively loading my hamstrings up.
This change has allowed me to become much more explosive through the extension and push through the floor.
Being able to accomplish snatching over 80% without failing or being afraid is such a relief. It's honestly been weeks since I've felt 'right' lifting.

Snatch and Clean & Jerk complexes at 80%

Clean + FS + Jerk 5x1+1+1
Great way to finish off the first week of this new training block.
May have to see someone about my hip, however.
If you watch closely, you can see that my left foot doesn't want to jump out laterally.
Since my AMRAP squats, I've been all jacked up. Was examined by an RMT friend and was told my pelvis is twisted. LOL #thisisfine
So, do I see a chiropractor or a physiotherapist? I just need to have things popped and realigned. I'm also totally serious. I'm new to this 'taking care of yourself' business 🙈
