Great things never come
from comfort zones.

No belt... no knee wraps. 1 scoop Granite Hystim and 1 tab Granite thermo burn was all I needed. -

Was not expecting to lift heavy due to having issues with my leg but DAM even over the short period of time correcting my range of motion and mobility work I was able to squat pretty close to pain free with a narrower stance. Not a PR but considering I have been lifting half this weight since Christmas time it felt pretty dam good to squat again 😄

Ain’t no thanggggg better than a leg day🤩. Suffering with some pain in my knees at the minute, so I’ve tried to make it as easy on my knees as possible without sacrificing my session - I’ve had to lower my weight a little here and there too to avoid unnecessary strain😑 but it was still a sweaty, satisfying session🙌🏼.

Eccentric leg extensions (TUT on way down)

2️⃣TRISET | 3x10 (go up in increments of weight, for anyone interested I’ve included my own weights here)
Leg press (130lbs/59kg - 145/66 - 160/73)
Frog press (feet at higher position)
Single leg press (drop weight, 10 each leg) (55/25 - 32 - 85/39)

Sissy squats (12, elevate heels using a plate, close stance)
Single leg pistol squat (12 each leg, bodyweight for two sets, weighted for two sets)

4️⃣Sumo DB squats 4x15

1️⃣Wall sit (30s) into squat pulse (4 pulses) to jump (30s) 1 min rest in between - 4 sets
2️⃣Monster squat walks // 6 sets (put weight up heavy and go as far as the cable will let you take it and back, that’s 1 set - DEMO ABOVE)

Hate cardio? Me too, unless it’s with a soccer ball. Short on time? Perfect. Supersets are where you want to live.

Playing soccer majority of my life taught me to continuously move, not to take breaks and train for mobility and function not just strength. Thankfully supersets like this do both.

Superset a plyometric, explosive movement after a strength training exercise. Focus on the same muscle group ideally, the goal is to reach muscle failure.

Try this barbell split squat, superset with alternating lunges jumps next time you train legs. These exercises, when done properly, should put your quads on FIIIYYYAAAAA!! 🔥🔥
