We generally (always) train barefoot. Why? 🙌🏽 Because our feet are our foundation when we’re training. We want to be able to ‘grip the ground’ with our feet to be stable and strong throughout a movement. They’re the main sensory input and all the tension we create when we lift weights goes through our feet- why put a huge object in the way of that?!
👍🏼 Improve proprioception
👌🏼 Improve posture and alignment
💪🏼 Lift heavier
🤷🏻♀️ Spend less on shoes
BUT when we are required to wear shoes we go straight to, and recommend all our clients wear, @vivobarefoot 🤸🏼♂️ 😀
