โœ… Glutes tight, rotated under and up - think of getting your bum to your belly button!
โœ… Toes and feet gripping the ground - think about pushing the ground away.

Such a great few days with @original_strengthโ€˜s @tim_sonofander and Dr Dan, thanks for making the trek to Brisbane! A jam-packed weekend of awesome people learning a fantastic system!

Itโ€™s a pretty miserable day here in Brisneyland today so hereโ€™s a #waybackwednesday (didnโ€™t know that was a thing!) from our sunny outing to the beach with @herrwut teaching our members some Persian Yoga ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ

We generally (always) train barefoot. Why? ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ Because our feet are our foundation when weโ€™re training. We want to be able to โ€˜grip the groundโ€™ with our feet to be stable and strong throughout a movement. Theyโ€™re the main sensory input and all the tension we create when we lift weights goes through our feet- why put a huge object in the way of that?!

This is a great way to build strength and mobility and flow. Moving from standing to a push-up back to standing. Did 100 in 28 minutes.
