Have you ever set a goal so big, it seems impossible to tackle? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sometimes that's how I feel about saving money to travel. I loooove to travel - to have amazing experiences. Because friends, life is just too short. 💖

But sometimes saving money is just so HARD. It's like hiking this trail last year at #redrockcanyon. My husband + I started the day on a moderate trail (pictured), in the desert, with limited hiking experience! But after two hours, we were at the top, with an absolutely gorgeous view! 😍

And you know what? Completing that trail gave us the confidence + knowledge to tackle a hard trail, RIGHT after that accomplishment. We pushed ourselves + made it to the top of THAT one, too. 💪🏻

I feel the same way after setting a big savings goal for an upcoming trip. A little nervous about how it will be done. But I know it's just one step at a time. 👣

I can give you all the tools that you possibly need to live a better life. But I can’t put the nail in the wall for you. I’ve been running groups for almost 2 years now and I have been on my own wellness journey from the inside out for about three years and trust me when I say I started accountability groups because I was sick of doing it alone the accountability, the checking in as a tool to help you. The workouts I do at home is a tool to help me but if I don’t turn on the TV and don’t do the work out I’m not going to get results. You have to learn to be disciplined and you have to learn to do it even when you don’t feel like it. Nobody else has to live your life and feel the way you do except for you so if you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired push her self out of your comfort zone and do something about it.

Develop a strong work ethic
What does Will Smith, Mark Cuban, Dwayne Rock Johnson have in common? They have an insane work ethic. The people who have the strongest work ethic will reach their goals quicker than the people don't. They are the people who are working on their goals in the morning and evening compare to everyone else who works in them once in a while.
How do you develop a strong work ethic? By consistently asking yourself can I do better. A great metaphor that Dwayne Rock Johnson uses is that his back is against a wall which means he needs to keep pushing forward.
Another example is Michael Jordan didn't become the greatest basketball player just by talent alone, he had a growth mindset knowing he would constantly improve and he did this with an incredible work ethic. Are you willing to put the work in? Have a great day and live your life with excellence

“Good enough” isn’t good enough for me. I want to look like a damn Greek statue. Eating whatever I want and maintaining a “slim” or overall healthy appearance isn’t good enough for me. I’d rather count macros and count down days til cheat meals, and then see my reflection in the mirror and think “damn... it was worth it.” Getting in the gym and winging it, just to keep moving isn’t good enough me. I won’t decide on the spot what I’m going to train, or randomly try workouts that have no ultimate goal behind them. Burning fat isn’t good enough for me. Doing an exercise ten different ways just to “switch things up” isn’t good enough for me. I’d rather study the science behind what I’m doing in the gym, and put some serious thought and planning into which exercises I’m doing, how many per body part, and how many reps & sets. I’d rather train with a purpose, so that in one year my changes aren’t guesswork. The gains were intentional. I took the clay given to me (my body), developed the tools myself thru trial & error, research, and unrelenting effort, and carved a statue in the image I wanted it to be. And guaranteed no one else has this body - or the story behind it - but me. I don’t know about you, but that’s why “good enough” isn’t good enough for me.
