Consistency is key. I used to hate working out- I short cut my way to skinny by eating poorly and abusing medications. After my son I swore I'd get back naturally. NON SCALE VICTORY!! When I started this journey, my goal was to ultimately be back to my high school weight which meant losing around 12 pounds. The pic on the left was from 2011 and the pic on the right is current. Of course I wanted to notice a difference in my muscle and be smaller but that was my goal! After my first 3 weeks I lost 7 pounds and began to think wow I can get there! After my next two programs, I didn't lose anymore weight and felt a little Defeated and yet when I looked in the mirror, I saw even more results! I realized I may never get back down to that high school weight but looking at pics from high school to now, I'm stronger, leaner and a lot smaller now than I ever was! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
Sometimes its not about the scale. Don't let the number get you down! As long as you feel confident and continue to crush your workouts and nutrition everyday-that means you've won! ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

This is an hour old but still relevant! It's amazing the difference it makes. I could tell two minutes into my workout that my own steam wasn't going to be enough.

Before and during, with the most recent on the right , I'm not sure how much time is spanned between these two photos. Regular exercise and clean nutrition are just two components of a healthy and fit lifestyle and when you put in the work, the results will show.

Here's to the next set of progress pictures in four weeks (the halfway mark of 22 Minute Hard Corps). Throw away the scale and instead take pictures. Pictures don't lie.

We went to Dover this past weekend and there's something about being at the race that puts me in my happy place. (Or maybe it's the burnt rubber ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค”) Even though Sunday's race definitely did not turn out the way I wanted it to (wish anyoneeee could've won besides who did ๐Ÿ˜ก) I still had an amazing time camping out and going to the races!! If only Carl was still racing ๐Ÿ˜ฉUntil next spring Dover!!!

Day 2 of my new program in the books. Time for a shower and a quick errand before picking the littles up from school. While this workout wasn't accomplished first thing this morning, it's such a great feeling knowing that I won't be finally tackling it at 10:30 tonight.
