THE BIRTH OF PURPOSE- THE IMPACT
The Okada(bike), zoomed off, because he was in a hurry to drop me before 7pm, so the estate's okada association wouldn't fine him for carrying passengers at 7pm.
Due to the traffic, he stayed on the lane of oncoming vehicles but would quickly join the appropriate lane, when a car was coming toward us. I kept telling him to take it easy and to maintain his lane and reduce his speed but he wouldn't listen. It's funny how we allow other people do things that will bring us harm, yet we stay quiet and just watch. It could be a relationship, friendship or a job.
You have the right to your safety. You have the right to say No to any toxic relationship.
I should have slapped him from behind like some people do, I later thought to myself or just asked him to drop me off.Hmmm but it was getting dark and there were no more bikes.
I had to just keep praying to get to my destination safely when, suddenly, a driver , trying to join the lane we were on from a street, ran into us. The impact was on my right leg. We fell of the bike and everything went blank.... This is not fiction. It is my story.
