Slam Spotlight! This Friday night Boston-based artist Veronica Barron will perform “Black is the Color” and “My Eyes Off of You.” Veronica Barron creates & performs physically exuberant theater, using puppetry, clowning, and the human body. With Liars and Believers, Barron developed two full-length shows, including ICARUS, an Americana musical in which she plays The Balladeer/Lead Puppeteer. With co-creator Aimee Rose Ranger, she has presented Winning Higgins's Love: A Clown Tragedy at puppet slams and festivals including Puppet Showplace Theater, Boston's First Night, and others. Veronica also facilitates street dance experiences for young and old with the School of HONK! community brass band.
