Since I decided to switch things up a bit in my routine (cardio after weights) I thought that maybe some of you might not want to do all of the Olympic bar stuff that I normally do on my leg/glute days. So this workout is for those of you who feel more comfortable doing machines...and for those of you who never do the leg machines (like me!) give it a go! The 🔥🔥🔥today was seriously real and my legs are already protesting!!
All exercises are 4x10-12. If you are short on time do them as super sets. .
•Leg press variation: you could also use a rolled up towel if you don't have access to a yoga block. Make sure you squeeze that block!
•Side Lying Leg Press
•Ballet Leg Press
•Leg Extensions: point those toes up towards your face. •Hamstring Curl: point your toes up and out and go slow on the way down. I was enjoying these so much that I ended up doing drop sets all the way down. 🔥🔥
•Abductor Machine: AKA most awkward machine on the planet. Jim Gaffigan does a funny skit about this machine 😊 4x10-20 depending on your weight. I don't want anyone hurting their groin by doing too much weight! .
20-30 min HIIT on your cardio machine of choice. I love the stair climber so I do 1-2 min hard climbing and then 2 min chill climbing for 20 min.
