Alright Giants,
I am honored to be part of a community that places so much emphasis on growth and improvement. This community is filled with risk takers, rule breakers, and move makers. Negativity serves no purpose here. I've been challenged by @strictlyred to participate in the #pullupchallenge" in an effort to spread a key message: light breeds light. We must pull each other up, not drag each other down - both mentally and physically.
How do you participate in the #PullUpChallenge?

1. Post a video of you doing Strict Pull Ups (or a single or a scaled version of a pull up if you cannot do a strict pull up yet) using the hashtag #PullUpChallenge and work on your pull ups as a part of your warm up everyday this month. You only need to post the video once (although you’re welcome to do it more than once or to post your progress throughout the month).
2. Tag 3 people you are nominating to participate in the challenge
3. Write some words of encouragement for the 3 people that you nominated. These words of encouragement can be about anything.
Let’s pull ourselves and each other up rather than weighing each other down.

@dannyjonesfitness - Danny's been a mentor at major points in my transformation. He's been an awesome support system and knowledge source. Working with him has always been a joy and I love what he does for the fitness community.
@emilyschromm made strong sexy. She gives young women the confidence to be their own superheroes, kick some ass, and love their bodies for the amazing machines they are. I'm all about that.
@rod_godbody When we first met at #theMecca, he was in preps for his first show (which he killed). He kills it every day in the gym. I've got all the confidence in the world that he's going places and making moves.
Last, but not least, I'm honorably tagging @psychofitness21 because this man right here knows more about making gains physically and mentally than most people can imagine. He's also the nicest guy you'll meet. So if we're tagging people who raise each other up, he's got to be on here (No need for pull ups, Chris)

That’s that algebra 3 🙄

Good strength session tonight when I joined the rugby team I coach for their mid week workout. The meat of the workout consisted of:
4 sets of 8 bench press -185lbs
4 sets of 8 squats

I asked one of the players to film me focusing on my knees and feet as I felt like I was rolling a bit forward.
The video confirmed it as I show to be rocking forward a bit which is pushing my knees out over my toes. This video analysis is partly what pushed me to spend some extra time on my squats when the players moved on to their metcon.

Followed by a metcon which I did not do. I instead chose to focus on some more squats and work on form via box squats. I also chose to knock out 4 sets of 5 dead hang pullups.
That brings my total pull-ups as of Day 4 to 140. That's 140 down with 1860 to go on my 2000 pull-ups challenge! .
