In August 1965 the Small Faces released their first single "Whatcha Gonna Do About It". It was clearly based on "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" by #SolomonBurke, one of the soul pioneers and a key influence for the band. But there is more under the hood, the main version of this song and several alternate versions released overseas feature a guitar solo based a on extremely harsh feedback, something that did not go unnoticed by such key musical figures as #JohnCale. In March 1967 #TheVelvetUnderground released The Velvet Underground & Nico and ten months later #WhiteHeatWhiteLight, the black Bible of rock'n'roll, one of the best assorted sets of guitar feedback ever heard. These two albums sold very poorly but their influence has been immense.
I'm working on my clouds, finding a moment of peace. I just want to thank you, Instagram community, for all you wonderful people and the support you have given me and that I hope I can give to you. It so matters ❤️
