Многим казалось, что люди будут проще и быстрее обмениваться информацией, больше изучать, больше общаться, смотреть новости, читать газеты. Еще не прошла даже пятая часть столетия, а скорость передачи информации уже зашкаливает, есть такие понятия, как информационный мусор, переполняющий как соцсети так и весь интернет в целом. Развитие PR, так же как и развитие технологий, ускоряется в прямо пропорциональной зависимости, и нам важно это понимать и подстраиваться. Нет, я не говорю о том, что классический PR должен уйти со сцены, ни в коем случае. Но усилить свою экспертизу в диджитал-коммуникациях необходимо каждому, кто хочет быть востребованным профессионалом на рынке.

My little brother has gotten married! 💞I couldn't attend the wedding due to the Migration Board hampering my opportunity to leave the country (already since the beginning of the year). But this doesn't stop me from being happy for my brother and celebrating🥂

This post is, however, for those (yet!)-lonely hearts like me. Whether we are actively searching for someone or believe that the Universe will bring us our second half, we should ask ourselves: WHICH IMAGE do we project, while searching / waiting for the Universe?

Let's say you're at the club with your friend(s). Do you just give looks to all the people you like or actively buy people drinks and work your magic? Doesn't matter! Because either way you look desperate or at least needy... Oh, you know about this, and pretend to not care about anybody and 'act natural', secretly hoping the Universe will deliver? Excusez-moi, but even the Universe is powerless here. Because half of the people totally sees you're pretending, while the second half thinks you're in your head and don't want to be approached. Either way, - either way you're projecting NEGATIVE IMAGE. And no one wants unhappy / desperate/ searching person. Everyone (happy or unhappy) wants a HAPPY person.

Pretending never works. People always see the truth. So wearing a mask won't change your image. To actually change it, you have to BE IT, to be the real thing.

This means that in our at-the-club situation you just have to enjoy yourself: talk and dance with your friends and with other people - whoever is around - being open and extravert. The people you like will see that and they'll be seeing you're happy. It's very easy to tell, isn't it? You're projecting POSITIVE IMAGE here.

Just be happy. You have everything for it, and you certainly don't need another person for this. You just have to decide. From this very moment ✨

The worst thing you can say during a crisis issue to a reporter is "no comment." You might as well just tell them you have something to hide or that you are guilty. Most reporters hate that answer and can quote you on it. There are many other responses that will work better when you have to act as the spokesperson in a crisis situation. Remember that you can always turn a crisis into an opportunity to grow your business/brand. #prtips #crisismanagement

We have worked with several hundred small businesses and most have two big things in common: they are extremely good at what they do, and they have no idea how to successfully market their business.⠀

Many of them are still using worn out and ineffective tactics, such as advertising on billboards, untraceable mailers, or relying solely on word of mouth.⠀
I have heard the same things over and over from business owners:⠀

"Well, I’m the best at XYZ so the word will obviously spread."⠀

“Word of mouth is my best advertising.”⠀

(But if you ask how often that word of mouth brings in qualified, paying clients, it is usually once a quarter or less, and no business can survive on that!)⠀

Word of mouth doesn’t pay the bills.⠀

The truth is, every business needs a strategic online marketing strategy to thrive today.⠀

Unfortunately, most small business owners don't have one. It makes sense that they're not flocking to online sources for their business. The average business owner is 50 years old, and they have been through the ups and downs of the economy, and they know what has worked in the past.⠀

So they find themselves sticking to what they know - what’s been "working for years," even if there’s no way of tracking the results. In the meantime, overall revenue, reach, and number of clients continues to decline.⠀
