Let me introduce you to Alex Becker @alex.becker
This 18 year old Partner has experienced so much in the less than 3 years as a partner. I remember interviewing this 16 year old in 2015 and decided to give him a shot. I’ve watched him become a Barista Trainer, Coffee Master, Store Barista Champion, District Barista Champion, compete in the Area 53 Barista Championship, promote to Shift Supervisor, volunteer countless hours, support the development of his baristas and peers, be a part of our district SSV development group and next preparing for his ASM assessment. Did I mention he relocated to Oceanside to continue his development with me? I am so thankful for his continued support and growth as a partner. His passion and commitment for everything that encompasses excellence for Starbucks is truly inspiring. Through the challenges and times of uncertainty, this guy has been such a positive impact on me as a leader. I’m thankful to have been part of his Starbucks journey and look forward to continuing his development outside of his 4 walls.
Alex, I don’t think you truly understand how much I have appreciated you this past year in Oceanside. I know it hasn’t been easy for either of us but we embraced change like champs and so proud of what we’ve accomplished together. You are going to be such an amazing Store Manager one day and I look forward to celebrating you once again! Thank you for the memories that I will always cherish and for always believing in me as a leader, mentor and now friend. 💚 I know your mom could not be more proud of you also! @sandiegostace
