I get asked quite a lot from people what courses I do. The truth is I have invested a lot of money into my learning and set a side a certain amount of money every year to ensure that I keep up to date with new material in my industry.
Physiotherapy is my passion and I believe you can never know everything! I am continuously learning every day. And in my opinion if you want to be the best you have to simply invest time and money to get there.
I personally gain my knowledge from journal articles, books, dvds, podcasts, mentorships and courses. I think gaining information from a variety of sources is important.
I have done various courses over the years. Some I have learnt a great deal and some not so much.
In the last 3 years however, where I would say my money has been well spent would be the the three courses / mentorships above.
1) @garyward_aim Anatomy In motion is a must do course in my opinion for any striving up and coming Physiotherapist
2) The Pro Sport Academy mentorship @prosportacademy with a good friend and mentor of mine David O'Sullivan is the single best mentorship programme out there in my opinion for anyone wanting to be the "go to therapist"
3) Integrated manual therapy series, which has taught me a new way to get quick results with putting the patient in a position of comfort through applying counter strain techniques.

Remember it is important to invest in yourself if you want to be the best you can be!
