Progress update: the left picture was taken September 13, 2016. I was just shy of 130lbs and lacked muscle definition. My goal was to always gain weight and have more muscle mass but I went about it the wrong way in the beginning. I focused more on cardio, squats without any weights & had no real knowledge about protein or the appropriate supplements I needed. From working at GNC, to researching fitness blogs and studying for PT I've learned what I needed for my body and how to reach my goals much faster. Gaining weight is still somewhat of a struggle because I don't count my calories and macros like I should but I know what I should be eating and what my workouts should consist of. Any goal or dream you strive for takes work and dedication. And RESEARCH everything!!!! If you're not sure about something look it up, that's what the internet is for. It's good to ask a professional but educating yourself makes you more self sufficient and confident in accomplishing your goals. I'm constantly striving for my goals and learning new things everyday. Another week of prep, another half-naked-bed-headed selfie for the collection โœ”๏ธ

โ€ข 16 weeks out
โ€ข Current weight: 61.8kg (down 370g)
โ€ข Weekly average: 62.2kg
I'll report my weekly average going forward as I'm finding my weight can fluctuate +/- a kilo on any given day, so this will give a better indication of how my weight is tracking.

โ€ข Calorie drop to 1900 this week - hoping that gets things progressing a little quicker ๐Ÿ“‰

TRAINING
โ€ข Started a new program last week ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
โ€ข 6 days/week - 3x heavy, 3x volume based (Squat, Bench, Deadlift + accessory). Moderate intensity. No cardio.
โ€ข Liking the new program so far. Volume days give my CNS a nice break to recover, while still progressively overloading ๐Ÿ“ˆ

HEAD SPACE
โ€ข Feeling good! I've had a strong week of training which always leaves me feeling accomplished.
โ€ข I'm feeling comfortable and confident with body (oddly enough, these totally exposed, awkward progress pics have been a positive reinforcement to have pride in my own skin) ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
โ€ข My only worry is whether I'm progressing quickly enough or should do more. Just have to stay consistent to the plan however and trust the process! โ˜บ๏ธ Excited to see how my body reacts to a calorie drop this week! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ

#ProgressUpdate!!! Currently weighing 85.5kg and feeling relatively lean๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ. I finally feel like I am back to where I was prior to breaking my hand, I feel physically a lot better when it comes to movement, mobility and flexibility which I have been working massively on the past few weeks which has also made me mentally stronger๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ.

Big shout out to @smashwerx, Trevor is the man, I hurt my back beginning of this year and was struggling to improve dealing with lower back issues and sciatica.... I've been using Trevor's methods for the past couple of weeks now and have recovered immensely, if anyone has any nagging joints or issues anywhere in their body check out his Instagram and YouTube channel I guarantee he will be able to help out!

Oh my I'm a happy girl right now! My lovely Mam & Sister took a trip to our plot today with the sales lady to get us an update.... house is a little behind what I thought it would be but have been told the roof will be on within the next couple of weeks (phew!) They are still working towards August completion although it's towards the back end of the month (sigh) but I'm feeling so much more relieved! Our garden is going to be huge too! Progress update!
Im at a point in my journey where weight doesn't come off as easy, but fat is still leaving. I'm seeing more muscle and a better me who also feels better. ๐Ÿ’ชmy goals change all the time, and there's always room for improvement!

Thanks for the #widn @cottage_renovation_ your patio is looking rather lovely! You've caught us in the middle of doing the same, although you're a few steps ahead of us as we still need to grout and seal ours!

So our patio is finally starting to take shape and we couldn't be happier with how its looking... After being so fussy with our choice of yellow stocks for the extension, we were sooo nervous about getting the patio choice wrong and ruining the look of the whole build. After a lot of ummming, arrrring and sampling we went with a neutral colour sandstone in the hope it would help the bricks 'pop' without taking anything away from them.

It was definitely worth thinking this through as we think the end result looks perfect! We also love how even though our patio is mainly grey, there's subtle tones of blue, green and orange showing through across each of the different slabs.

Looking forward to sharing an update when it's been rendered (retaining wall and steps) and grouted/sealed! Can't wait to have our extension finished so we can enjoy summer evenings in this space #patientlywaiting
