With today marking the start of the #healthbetchallenge for me & my girls, I snapped a few updated #progresspix (some w/ muscles flexed & some w/ muscles relaxed to show how different the 2 poses look) & I stepped on the scale for the first time since the end of April.
I decided over a year ago that, no matter what shape I'm in, I love me enough to take care of me ☺️ I also decided that my body knows when it feels best, so I actually like the extra pounds I've put on, some fat & some muscle. I have been gauging my progress by how my clothes fit & how well I function, instead of by what the scale says.
This month, I love me so much that I'm gonna workout at least 5 days a week (I usually workout 6 times a week, so this shouldn't be an issue), keep my nutrition on point with proper portions of healthy foods & daily Shakeology drinkage (gotta get my superfoods & adaptogens in!) that fuel my body for what I aim to do with it.
