I went to the gym today, even though I didn’t want to, because when your family all tells you to, you kind of have to go.
I did 20 minute HIIT run on the dreadmill and the 10 minute fast walk on a 10.5 incline. And then did 10 minute on the stair stepper. Which always leaves me drenched in sweat. It was pretty disgusting and feel terrible for whoever passed me at the grocery and pet store later🤣.... #fitguy and I made the tastiest #vegetarian biscuits and gravy for brunch. And just finished a light dinner. I’m excited to start week 9 of #bbg !!! The scale hasn’t moved much but I have been losing inches.

This weeks check-ins. 6 weeks left in this improvement season and until prep starts! Happy with where I’m sitting at right now even though I injured my back this week. You can kind of tell how the right side is a little bit more inflamed than the left. 😩
But using this time to let my body rest and recover because clearly it needs it!
Hope y’all had an amazing weekend and try to take some time tonight to invision your week ahead and create a mindset that will make you succeed this week! 💪🏼😈

I’ve been doing weekly insta story updates on my progress and biweekly in posts.

Today I almost didn’t share.
Not because I’m ashamed or I went backwards - because I didn’t.
But I really don’t have a good reason why I shouldn’t share.

Today, I added a few other progress photos besides my own as well.
Same program. We are on the same day of the program. .
This is the first program I have been consistent with the time of day I’ve been working out! I love it! That being said this TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY ONLY the times will be moved to later in the day. So, no worries, I’m still showing up. I am just rearranging to make it work with life. ☺️

There is never going to be a perfect time to start. The key is to just start!

Dedicated to self growth! Almost halfway through these 80 days. Loving the progress. And can't wait to start another 80 days when I'm done! One of my goals was to not see this as a "challenge" I was doing that would be over in 80 days. I think I have reached that goal. I'm obsessed with the results, the change, the process. Week 6 challenge... here are my progress photos. I am actually unhappy with my results thus far. I know I can do better! I will do better. Getting a more accurate body fat calculation this week helped my meal prep today. I believe I was actually over eating a bit. Not by a crazy amount, but hopefully this will get me the results I want. Also switching up my foods to keep my body from being used to the same ole stuff! #alwaysstayhungry .

4 weeks 💙

Having that “OMG, am I actually sharing this?” type of feeling. 🙈 I said I would. I know I can. But my goodness, it took a pep talk to get here. 🙋🏼‍♀️ .
This is the difference that six weeks of hard work can make, along with all the struggles, setbacks, and imperfections -lots of them. 🤷🏼‍♀️

So many emotions are flooding right now.
.
😬Anxious is the first one that comes to mind. Because those are RAW and REAL photos. Not a single edit. That’s freaking nerve-wrecking to share with the world. .
🙌🏼Proud is the most important one. Because I’ve taken control over how I want to feel. Because I’m making progress. Because I’m losing weight, inches, and feeling BETTER - HAPPIER, and HEALTHIER. And WAYYYY more confident.

And because I am sharing this with you. In hopes of helping someone else realize that they deserve to make positive changes. And that you can. ✌🏼

That you deserve to feel this good. 🌱 That it can be done with short at home workouts, simple nutrition in the kitchen and in the form of a superfood shake - and that the KEY to success is the SUPPORT community. 👯‍♀️🤸🏼‍♀️It’s seriously SO simple you just have to make the DECISION and DO.

It doesn’t have to be perfect. The past 6 weeks have been far from perfect - lots of struggles, yet I still made great PROGRESS! .
It’s hard to get even the basics done each day, am I right?! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Hard to keep up with countless doctor appointments each week. Hard to keep a fussy baby content while I MAKE time to meal prep, workout, or heck even take a shower.
You get it, being a new momma is HARD. But what’s even harder is feeling like complete crap and trying to figure out each day.

At the end of a super busy weekend, one threshold sanded and ready for some treatment. Is it just me or do you find the list of renovations jobs to do just keeps growing instead of shrinking?! I'm semi participating in a 100 day goal run by @thebusinessbakery to see where we could get to with this renovation. I'll spend this evening doing a little catch up of the last week or so. What I do know is we're still doing tasks that were never on the list in the first place! I'll add them so I can cross them off. Do you do that too? 😂

We are halfway through Phase 2 and even tho I am tempted to take measurements, progress photos and check weight, I am not going to. I said I would do it at the end of each Phase but I DO know that my body is still changing because my clothes are telling me. They just aren't fitting like they used to. You guys!!!!! This is one month of hard work and gettin results! This makes me SO excited for month ✌🏼

I was feeling a little bummed about my progress....so I dug out my very first start photos! I didn't even keep my face in the pictures! I wish I had now (all you newbies...take photos! You WILL want them later!) So, after reviewing my "WHY" and looking at my progress: I feel better! I may not see the scale number that I had originally wanted, I may still see some imperfections....but I HAVE COME A LONG WAY. I am healthier and stronger!
