4th day of #7dayblackandwhitephotochallenge
Today is a difficult day to post only in black and white - photos taken yesterday were so full of color!
Started afternoon at Balboa Park. Thankfully I know this city well and know where to find parking spots. Balboa Park was packed!
Before entering we stopped off at Park’s, dog park. Love this park! It is huge and people, along with doggies, are very friendly.
No photos of dog park today. Maybe tomorrow?
Instead 1st photo of Reggie and me in front of Christmas Tree decorated in Grinch Stole Christmas decorations. The Old Globe is putting on this play and have decorated their large patio with this theme. Ha! If Photo was in color you would see tree decked out in purple, red, white and pink. Lots of kids and families were there to see play.
We left Park after a few hours and headed over to see San Diego Bay of Lights. Even more crowded at SeaPort Village! We parked ? 1/2 mile away? Further? In a hotel parking lot that charged a fortune. I heard people took the train in and then Ubered it up the hill to watch around 80 boats decked out in holiday lights come floating by.
I’m going to wait and post photos of most boats because they were just too beautifully decorated in color to post in black and white.
Lots and lots of families were there to see boat parade of lights, along with lots of dogs. Reggie fit right in! So many friendly kids and parents who like dogs!
2nd photo a few of the smaller boats. But there were some good sized boats- decorated to the hilt!
3rd photo 1a few trees decorated with lights at Sea Port Village, which is where we were.
I liked the black and white contrast.
This time no cut and paste tricks ha!
Instead, tried out a few new apps to take photos.
I used a camera phone app called ProCam. Also used Snapseed to edit Along with Carbon. I’m really loving Carbon for creating black and white photos.
Fun day! Really fun!
