β˜•οΈ There are many different types of protein powder (whey, casein, egg, hemp, pea, phoenix, dragon, boggart, etc) and they all have something unique. But, at their core, they all do the exact same thing - give you a quick, simple, time efficient way to get more protein in your diet. That's it. Nothing special.

πŸ„In the same way chicken and fish and yogurt and eggs and turkey have protein...so do these powders. The main difference being, a powerful wizard figured out a spell to separate the protein into a fine, flavored powder that you can quickly drink when you don't have the time or desire to prepare a meal.

My initial thought was to post a fitness photo - whether it's running, paddling, swimming, yoga, doing a HIIT workout, etc. πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ πŸ›ΆπŸŠπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺ🏼 But I realized I always do a few things before I get to that: βœ”οΈMake my bed πŸ›

By doing this I am not only increasing my strength and power but also assisting with muscle recovery. Peak physical performance enables me to work off any stress and feel good about myself. Peak mental performance allows me to concentrate and focus on results.

Definitely something to be said for starting your day out right and for me it is absolutely a good sweat. Once I have my workout out of the way I can focus on my daily goals and the adrenaline rush helps me tackle my "to-do" list! πŸ—’

Saturday is STATurday on this program and I'm down 2lbs and 5inches in 1 week, OH YEA 😜

Good to be back to working out a little. Been out of commission since Tuesday. Made it to the gym yesterday and now today.Had my 1-2 times a year flare up with my back... herniated disc. Saw my chiropractor, massage therapist and acupuncture twice this week. I love my spot because they have everything at the clinic. I will be back at the box on monday. Was at 70% yesterday but today about 80%. Tomorrow will do some cardio and work in the pool.

Ok so woke up at 9:45 this morning which is so unlike me! But, I have an annoying cough & I think these allergies are knocking me out - at least that's what I hope it is! 🀞🏻 Took yesterday as a rest day from working out since I couldn't drag myself out of bed early to do it. Sipped my pre-workout so it could work its magic to get me through my 35 min of cardio! 😊
