Annie's pov || Chapter 10
That's all I saw in my room, I had all the lights off even though it was day light out.
Rush came in, he's the only one that really comes in here anymore. Seems like he's the only one that really, really cares.
He placed a tray beside me on the bed, i could immediately smell the fries and cheese burger. "Here Annie, you need to eat. You haven't ate in about a day." He said quietly, holding a fry up. I opened my mouth and he placed the fry in my mouth. I chomped it, poor fry. "Eat some more and we're going to go downstairs." He said. I immediately shook my head, turning my head from him. "Annie, come on. You've been stuck up in this room for two days." He pleaded, pulling my arm. I roll my eyes and sat up, glaring at Rush. He grimaced but quickly covered it. "Uhm... You need a brush... and a ba- OOF!" He fell, rubbing his head where the pillow hit him. I smile in triumph and giggled a little, picking my pillow up but leaving him down there. "Hey! You're not gonna help me?" he pouted playfully, picking himself up from the floor. I looked up at him innocently and ran into my bathroom, closing the door and locking it before he got inside there. I went to open mouth but only made a little squeak. A squeak of disappointment. I unlock the door and opened it, immediately hugging Rush and started crying. "Shh, it's going to be okay Annie. I promise." He mumbled, hugging me back.
I felt safe... really safe. •*.Two hours later•*.
"Hey Annie!" A cheerful, disturbing voice boomed in my head. I winced, glaring at kenzie immediately. "Oops, sorry. I forgot.." She mumbled, frowning at my glare. I walked past her, purposely bumping my shoulder against hers. I felt arms go around my waist and picking me up, Hayden. Hitting his arms, he quickly put me down. "What's wrong with you, Annie?" He asked, curiously. 'Nothing,' I signed quickly, smiling up at him.
He hesitated before he smiled back, hugging me from the side. "You know you can always talk to me, right?" He asked softly. I nodded my head and started walking to the staircase before hands on my shoulders stopped me. "Nuhuh, you're staying down here."
