This past Friday was Mrs. Emily's last day before beginning her maternity leave! We will all sincerely miss her and we couldn't be more thrilled for both Mrs. Emily and her husband!
To send Mrs. Emily off with a special note, each student coloured a baby bottle; pink if they think she will have a girl and blue if it’s a boy, along with some adorable baby advice. She was then surprised to find all of the bottles on the Playschool door! 💗🍼💙 Here's a little snapshot of the baby advice from the students:
Kiss your baby lots, wash your hands. Be very gentle. Take your baby everywhere.
Give him heart and love and when he cries, bottle him.
Sing Happy Birthday.
Let me babysit because I am a good babsitter. And send pictures!
Make sure you take the baby to the doctor lots to make sure it's okay.
Feed them and burp them.
Name the baby Ayden. (From Ayden)
Babies cry a lot and you need to feed them bottles. Babies can be a lot of hard.
Put diapers on and give her milk. And when her is crying, drink milk.
Spin the baby.
Teach your baby to do puzzles.
Teach your baby to run really fast!
If baby is cold, put a blanket on it. If baby is hungry, give it bottle.
I love you.
Sing lullabies to help the baby sleep.
Mrs. Emily asked to pass on a great big thank you to all the parents and children for their thoughtful words, gifts and support! 😍💜
