The best bit about falling down is you realise those strengths within which got you back up again.... carry you onto greater things you may not of arrived at had you not stumbled and had to reset yourself.... It takes strength to pursue a goal no matter how long and challenging the route may be.... To stay focused day in day out and not allow distraction or to be able to get back on it when you de-rail for whatever reason... There is not one person who will wake up feeling positive EVERY damn day. It’s those tough days that set the winners and the achievers apart from the rest of the crowd.

Okay so as many of you know there are many diets out there in the fitness world and as I say I highly recommend to experiment with you food!

Now let's touch on low carb / keto diet, yes I've been on that sort of diet for a solid amount during this year's prep season!

So why maybe try this approach well....⤵️⤵️

3 to 4 weeks of a ketogenic diet with a high-calorie meal once per week is a strategy that has been very effective. If you need to “kickstart” a diet, a short stint of keto can be a good way to initiate fat loss and reduce any gut flora issues that can be an issue when dieting. Training intensity could lower and be a little tougher but having periodic cheat meals, or “refeeds” as they call it will jumpstart your metabolism and help you keep Sanity and keep pushing you threw those workouts!.

Also as you see I've been carb depleted for. Awhile so my insulin sensitivity went down causing me to look aka "flat" but once I refeed or in my case carb up, the muscles will balloon up and help me look fuller on stage....or for you guys keep your mental state stable and help you again with those tough workouts! -

Takeaway's.... Try new things don't be afraid if it doesn't work then switch it up. And try to maintain a solid Protein/Carb/Fat diet! As it's important to have all macronutrients! -

Comp prep requires us to lead with our masculine energy like being action-oriented, competitive, direct etc. In order to achieve the goal we set out for ourselves we often have to go into “prep mode” which often means: block everything (& everyone) out, forget how you feel & only focus on this one goal.⁣

Prep mode can often lead us away from feminine energy, which is more rooted in intuition, feeling & connectivity. The lack of nurturing on this energy can often feel us leaving imbalanced & we don’t even know it!! So as we try to tackle the mental & emotional hurdles of #postcomp with our masculine energy we are left pretty dang confused as our previous “no excuse mentality” no longer works.⁣

This goes for a lot of things not just overcoming post competition stuff! By taking a moment to reflect on your mindset & see what energy you is leading with, you can learn a lot more about yourself! ⁣

Some ways you can tap into your feminine energy:⁣
✖️ Connect with people in person⁣
✖️ Go to a dance class or moving your body in a new way⁣
✖️LET GO with the self criticism & EMBRACE yourself ⁣
✖️ Let go perfectionsism & live more authentically ⁣
✖️ Find a new hobby rooted in creativity ⁣
