Got a quick leg workout in today ๐Ÿค›๐Ÿผ๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜… I swear even though I already know this & always say this , it's just still always shocks me how much better and energized I'll feel after a workout ! Today I realllllllly didn't wanna go but I haven't been in like two weeks!!!!! Buenos Dias world! ๐ŸŒžI've been asked if I still lift during my pregnancy. The answer is yes -- typically 2-3x per week at home depending upon how I feel @ 60-70% of what I had done prior to BamBam (this was only my second workout in Israel because...well...it's too damn HOT for this mama-to-be to workout ๐Ÿ˜‚). 185lbs 3x3 Squat, 90lbs 3x5 Press & Ascending to 225lbs 1x3 DL. When I think about dedication I think about Laura. She's been strength training two days a week since the day she found out she was expecting! Now at 37 weeks she has only missed one session and continues to make her health a priority. 2. One legged banded leg press - 30lbs - 3x12
3. Leg extension machine - 85lbs - 4x15
4. Leg curl machine - 115lbs - 4x15
5. High incline walking - 10 incline, 2.7-3mph speed - 10 minutes

I really do feel so good... although it is crazy how I'll have lovely energy and then feel the need to sleep! Last night I took a 3 hour nap haha! Monday I was EXHAUSTED also, but Tuesday had an awesome energy filled workout! ๐Ÿ’ช

Leg day was today! After last leg day where I um maybe was a little pissed & really got after it.... then my back/hip got very unhappy... Thank goodness for my Chiro...SO lesson learned! .

33 Weeks today! Crazy! All is going so so well! I did pull my hip/low back out due to training hard legs on Sunday, then my bum getting really tight, and well forgetting that my core doesn't really help me as much as it used to! Plus, I've had low back issues for years - I have a SUPER long and SUPER flexible torso which means I REALLY need to load my lifts perfectly AND i need a VERY strong core to do it. Which is one reason I'm now VERY strict on form with my clients! Back issues SUCK! .

I had right form but forget my core isn't really there for me that much, plus with all the relaxin hormone in my body (literally relaxes your ligaments and bones to allow stretching for baby) my ability to stay tight and rigid in my lifts is compromised. I just need to be more aware of this! I know it, hehe but i was a little pissed off when I did legs on Sunday and just ROCKED them! Felt great, but my body got a little upset! Thank goodness for my chiro!! ๐Ÿ’• .

Sleeping great, no hormone swings, no cravings, no heartburn... nothing. Just not getting all the water I need.... working on that! I get at LEAST 90oz, but goal is 128oz! I can do it!! ๐Ÿ’ช
