Before I start posting all the amazing things Katie has been doing in our training sessions I felt she needed an introduction & background information because the main thing to remember is that no 2 pregnant clients are the same. Training age and training background is a huge consideration when training any client, especially a pregnant one.
Katie has been training under my guidance since that awesome little dude in the picture (Vincent) was just 8 weeks old.
Katie is one of the most dedicated and hard working clients I have had the pleasure to work with and is an absolute inspiration, not to mention a total weapon.
She is the embodiment of what you can achieve when you follow the program.
Katie came to me with quite a deep abdominal separation and pelvic floor weakness.
Over the time I have trained Katie she has hit many milestones including being able to squat more than her own body weight (for reps full range with great technique - a pretty mean feat for any female 💪🏻and doing unassisted chin ups chest to bar (double 💪🏻💪🏻)
Getting from 8 weeks post natal to that point took many hours in the gym and stacks of hard work and dedication but it's meant we can continue to train in a safe but similar way to which her body has become accustomed through out this pregnancy.
Can't wait to share with you what this amazing woman has been doing in the gym through out her 2nd pregnancy.
