You guys, the excuses were REAL today.. .

We are in the middle of a heat wave, I am in the middle of being pregnant, my feet resemble sausages more than feet (or maybe pigs feet is a more accurate description.. ) our house is 26, I got home late, and still had work I want to get done before the end of the day (because #Goals). .

BUT! I have health and fitness goals as well. I also have a community of women that I am helping to keep motivated, and what does it say if I "Let this one slide"?! .

So I pulled up my yoga pants (and seriously this is taking some work these days), walked my growing belly into the basement (and came back up again to pee...🤣) and got $hit done! .

What are you waiting for? What are your excuses? .

Trust me, if I can do it, you can do it! .

Three years ago today I stepped into the unknown of possibilities. All I knew is I felt amazing and wanted as many women as possible to experience the positive changes I was seeing/feeling.
In the first pic I was 2 months into my fitness journey. I was happier. Stronger. More energetic. I loved the person I was becoming, inside and out. I still had goals, of course, but I was well on my way.
That’s why when health coaching was presented to me as a job opportunity, I said yes (on 7.17.15!) Because let’s face it. I knew I couldn’t feed my body with just “any shake” after drinking #thegoodstuff. And the discount was sweeeeeeet.
On top of that, I would be able create my own business. Choose my own hours. Work from home (or anywhere) around my family’s schedule. And be more present, while still providing. It felt like the perfect fit for the season of life I was in.
That’s why three years later, in the second pic, I’m proud to say I’m still in the best shape of my life (#babybump and all), able to help other women work towards their goals, connect with women from around the globe and know that I’m doing something good in this world.

Lo más importante como siempre les digo es contar con la aprobación de tu médico tratante y sobre todo de ver cómo responde tu cuerpo al entrenamiento. .
Mi enfoque en estos últimos meses será mantenerme activa y prepararme para el trabajo de parto. Mi idea es caminar más, sentadillas y estiramientos prenatales hasta el fin💪🏽 .

A little piece of yesterday’s & todays workouts. #34weeks this week & still am shocked I can manage to do most of what’s listed on the board. Staying “in shape” this pregnancy has been pretty easy to be honest. Don’t get me wrong there’s definitely been modifications. The nice thing though is I had my daily routine set prior to conceiving so the transition into #pregnancyworkouts wasn’t too drastic. Let’s hope I recover quickly after delivery so I can bounce back into my workouts again, but since this will be my third cesarean I’m not setting a high expectation. Cheers to all you #fitmoms out there! The grind never stops, but if we can do something active for our bodies daily that’s a bonus!

Currently sitting in hospital waiting for my antenatal appointment... wanted to thank everyone who gave me feedback/home remedies for round ligament + pelvic pain to hold me over until today. ✌🏼

Remember our post last week about estrogen dominance? Conventional treatments for hormonal imbalances usually include synthetic hormone replacement therapies, birth control pills, insulin injections, thyroid medications and more. 🔆Practice stress relieving skills such as meditation, yoga, journaling, poetry, baths, breathing exercises, nature walks, etc. 🏋🏿‍♀️Exercise regularly ❌Avoid gluten, dairy, sugar and processed food for at least 3 months
🥦Add in bone broth, glutamine, evening primrose oil, vitamin D, fish oil, and B vitamins

We were in the middle of a bicep curl move and I look over and see Mike’s arms POPPIN like WOAH!😅😍🤤 talk about a whole other level of attraction! Haha! Mike RARELY (and I mean RARELY )worked out with me before this program...it’s only day 2 and I’m seriously IN LOVE with not only HIM for doing this WITH me, but also: 🖤It’s holding me accountable (I accidentally turned off my alarm clock this morning and fell back asleep...normally I would skip the workout for the entire day).
🖤It’s free marriage therapy...I can feel my bond with him getting stronger already
🖤It’s pushing me to exercise harder during the workout because I know he’s watching me
🖤He’s helping to soothe Avery when she gets fussy during the workouts so that I can finish my reps. The hormone release that is happening when she cries/when working out is an intense combo and it makes me want to punch the wall hahaha
