Praxis participants don’t just learn 21st century practical skills. They also learn how to apply big picture ideas and philosophy to their daily professional lives. 💪
Every Wednesday our education team holds group discussions and skills workshops, and this week was philosophy night! We were joined by George Mason University economist Dr. Peter Leeson for a discussion on Rational Choice Theory.
In this open discussion, Dr. Leeson covered what rational choice theory is, how it explains some of the world’s strangest situations, and how it applies to the world around us as non-philosophers.
Thanks for joining us, Dr. Leeson! Next week is Praxis Wednesday’s Monthly Wrap-up call, where participants discuss their current program goals and creative challenges, share their results from the last month, and talk about their plans for the next month! 🎉
