This was much more challenging than treepose but super fun and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. What's surprising is that I felt straight up and balanced evenly and yet, I appear so very crooked and leaning in all of my pictures. 🤔

Day 10 of #BreatheSweatSmile is Toe Stand or #Prapadasana with a little funky variation. I started in tree pose with half lotus and then very slowly lowered down. Once you feel strong and grounded on the ball mount of your tootsies, you can reach around for the bind, and then lift one arm for an added challenge in concentration and balance. Seriously, I'm love-love-loving all of the different variations everyone is taking to make this challenge uniquely your own. Убедила себя, что смогу и сделала! Спасибо сыну за терпение и фото 😘 Выполняла сегодня эту асану впервые и результатом я довольна 😍

Todays pose for 🍂🍃 #SeptLimber • Day 1 • Tiptoe Pose • #Prapadasana. 🍂🍃 I tried to take a twist...that's one I want to conquer...no joke...takes balance to a whole new level✌🏼️ Om Shanti & Namaste. 💚

Instructions:
1. Stand in Tadasana.
2. Shift your weight to your left leg and bring your right leg up. Grasp your right foot and bring your right knee out to the side, drawing your heel up towards your navel.
3. Place your foot in the crease of your left thigh.
4. Keeping your leg in place, bend forward and touch the floor with your hands.
5. Bend your left knee and sit on your left heel. Your heel should not be touching the ground.
6. Balance on your toes and bring your palms together in a prayer position.

My choice this time is a #ToeStandVariation, which a friend of mine sent me earlier as an example on near impossible #pose. I agreed with him back then, but not anymore 💪
The secret is to start in standing, lift up your feet in #anjali #mudra, gaze forward and stand as tall as possible. Then #squat down slowly, and raise on your toe when down. It does still require good #strength and #flexibility in your legs, but to me it's far more doable than skipping the standing part and lifting the leg in anjali mudra when on your toe. -

It has several interpretations of course but I guess by common people the author Swatmarama means gossipy or draining company. As I grow in my practice spending time on the mat, with myself, is more alluring than being in a crowd. If u think about it being alone but not lonely is an ideal soul place.
