First time I saw this pose two years ago I thought….wtf kinda shit is this. How do they expect normal people to get to this level? First time I tried it couldn’t lift my foot high enough to even grab it. Two years later, recording my personal practice and figure what the heck, I’ve warmed up what I’ve needed to warm up and I’ve got nothing to lose…lets do this.
Guys, stop giving up on the shit you want. STOP. It’s not going to come overnight. Look in the mirror. YOU ARE A MIRACLE AND YOU DID NOT COME OVERNIGHT! It took 9 months to make you and your habits you hate? It took YEARS for them to develop and this tightness in your body or lack of strength you have? IT TOOK YEARS OF DESTRUCTIVE things for that to happen to your body. It’s not going to happen overnight but who gives an eff. The time passes by anyway. Do something you want and stop settling for less and while I acknowledge this is just an asana and am not attached to it whatsoever I can look back at something I once thought was impossible and did it. It will never be yours if you never go get it.
