Irrelevant but I listened to Jay Shetty's podcast today about cultivating a monk mindset. It brought me back to my childhood where I grew up going to temple and learning about Buddhism. I loved the principles so much that I even thought about becoming a nun! I'm lucky I had a philosophy to follow and guide me at a young age - considering the fact I grew up in a low socioeconomic area where it was easy to succumb to antisocial behaviour. I loooooved the lotus analogy when I was younger and I think it helped me stay focused on the bigger picture...blossom even when the waters are muddy 🌻

My third set of a 3x5 with 435! Shit felt great and would of actually been a 5x5 had my baby knee skin hardened up a bit but that's why I put in the work so my future self can reap the reward! Another shoulder finisher that i absolutely love and an exercise that I find enjoyable to do. Shoulders is always a muscle that I highly recommend extra attention for aesthetics and injured prevention reasons. Below a workout example mixing strength, hypertrophy and some β€œCardio/HIT” that I am doing at the moment.
