Squats (2nd & 3rd shown) - training in the weeks leading up to comp were horrible due to issues with my hip. My second attempt did not feel as smooth as I wanted it to be so I was nervous going into the third. The weight felt fine as I unracked it and I thought I had it but I struggled on my way up. My hip was also doing some funky shit. 🙄

Bench (2nd & 3rd shown) - bench has been so good throughout training and I was excited to bench for comp (lol ragrets). Second attempt was super easy but Mikey and I decided to take a 2.5kg jump to 57.5 as I should hit that easily, instead of trying to go for the 60. I knew the bar looked slanted but thought I may have just been losing the plot (very common occurrence). That threw me off a little but I also stupidly touched too low and then almost benched into my face lmao ty boys for the save. So lesson learnt, don't feel good about bench. Ever. 😂

Deadlifts (all attempts shown) - opened conservatively because deadlifts make me lose my fucking mind. I couldn't position myself properly so my form was really off. I always struggle off the ground but with my third attempt, it came off the ground quickly and I actually fucking struggled to lock out (this never happens dafuq). I also almost fell backwards trying to lock out and I probably shouldn't have gotten that lift but luckily I did. 🤷🏼‍♀️Also most importantly, they are dinosaur taco socks 🌮

Not a squat video! Bench press 4x8 at 210lbs. I think I'm making strides in my bench press right now. Not so much by weight, but some recent changes were making me feel the lift differently which is exciting to me.
Swipe for ab wheel work. If you want to really work the ab wheel without compensation, lock your ribs down and get your pelvis neutral throughout the movement.
