230Ibs PR with more left in the tank (@ 115Ibs BW)!!!!!! This was after 5 sets of heavy squats at 90%, 5x5 bench, and 3 heavy deadlift singles leading up to this one. I actually missed 230 at the end of my last training cycle, so this number has been haunting me for a few months now. I'm not super happy with my form on this one but I tend to forget about form completely with heavy deadlift singles and I have yet to conquer my sticking point which lately seems to be the floor 🙄
I'm exactly 2 weeks out from my meet today, and this was my last time deadlifting until then. Going to be PR-ing on squats next training session and then I'll be deloading. 230 is #povertyaf but I'm so excited to have finally gotten over that mental barrier and I can't wait to hit 250 soon. And then 3hunna??? #prayintothegainsgods
