This @aaptiv class was all about working on speed while climbing a hill. Intervals and ever-changing incline challenge your lung capacity. I am learning to be a more efficient runner. .

I want to shout out all those amazing peeps I have supporting me. My hubs, my trainer @shanekokas all my amazing friends who started following me but the biggest shout out to my kid sis who has to deal with my constant #postworkoutselfie because if I don't take one- did I really work out? I also send her pictures of me eating food and outfits I'm not sure of. She is THE BEST! Here's to hoping while I'm in my basement sweating a workout out she's doing something far more hip

Sure, life is crazy busy, and this will only make it busier, but I wouldnโ€™t have it any other way.
Two of my favorites (@getwellwithkel and @colbylivesfit) recently posted about the power simply changing your mindset from โ€œI HAVE toโ€ to โ€œI GET toโ€ can have on your happiness. I am beyond grateful that I GET to wake up every morning with a crazy to-do list and an ever growing list of dreams and goals. I am thankful I GET to wrestle (very large) high school boys to the ground (yes, this happened ๐Ÿ˜‚), I GET to pull all nighters studying subjects I am passionate about, and I GET to wake up early for killer workouts. ๐Ÿ‘Š

What is something you typically would grunt about that you are thankful you GET to do?! ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡
Realize how many people wish they could do what you โ€œhave to doโ€.
We donโ€™t have a crystal ball, tomorrow you may wake up unable to do these things.
I challenge you to start looking at life with the mindset that you GET to, not that you have to; youโ€™ll be surprised how adding a little positivity into your outlook can affect your mental health.๐Ÿ˜˜

Those post exercise endorphins ๐Ÿ™ƒHonestly, tell me 1 time you've ever regretted exercising? It kind of sucks at 1st (and sometimes it sucks a lot) but then it feels so amazing. ๐Ÿ“ˆunless it's leg day, and you go too ham- in that case it can suck for a week... but I digress... #saturdays #everythingyouwant #isontheothersideofpain

Endurance weightlifting from earlier today and holy crap did it kick my ass ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ #ItsBeenAMinute since I joined my morning crew for our live workouts and it was HARD getting up today. Lady time aches and pains were ๐Ÿ’ฏreal. It wouldโ€™ve sucked more if I had waited, sulked in the pain and let my mind dictate my actions. I wouldโ€™ve ended up giving myself another โ€˜rest dayโ€™ knowing well enough that I couldโ€™ve done it. I had a habit of doing that when my muscles were too sore or I was โ€˜tiredโ€™. Then I would end up having 3-4 โ€˜rest daysโ€™ and then starting over. Thatโ€™s the viscous cycle I worked so hard to break free from and I am not going back. 30 minutes of weightlifting training that gives me REAL RESULTS from home๐Ÿก๐Ÿ’–You donโ€™t need a lot of space or fancy equipment. I didnโ€™t have a bench so I improvised with my ball and chair. I am getting a lot more results from what I do at home than an hour in the gym, not knowing how the hell to work the equipment and feeling uncomfortable AF. I choose my home gym any day. #TeamLiveInLove #HomeGymLife #CardioDay #EveryDayIsLegDay

I got to the gym just before closing, so I went with a 15min arm workout. I'm not perfect, but I'm working to love my imperfections. *

BBG week 2 legs and cardio in the bag!!! ๐ŸŽ‰ I went done to the apartment gym and had to do a few modifications but it was still a killer workout! I even incorporated some booty band warm ups for extra burn ๐Ÿ”ฅ that perhaps future Kerri may regret. Seriously my @bootiful.boutique sports bra and leggings are a fitness goals best friend.
